Franceschi Chocolate is a unique collection of Fine and Extrafine Chocolates, made from selections of ancestral Venezuelan cacao of Criollo and Trinitario Origin, with a combination of the aromas, textures and flavors from the different regions from Venezuelan lands.

The Franceschi family has rescued cacao varieties of Criollo and Trinitarian origin of pure genetic quality, extraordinary aromas and unique flavors.
They are aromatic cacaos of well-rounded taste and great intensity in all their attributes.
“Ocumare”, “Canoabo”, “Chuao”, “Guasare” and “Porcelana” are Criollo strains highly valued by chocolate makers all over the world.
Criollo Origin Cacaos are natural from Sur del Lago de Maracaibo, at the foot of the Andean Mount, from where it spread to other areas of the humid Venezuelan coast.
There are more than 30 varieties of Venezuelan cacaos of Criollo Origin. That is why we say we are the birthplace of extra-fine cacao, with the widest offer of flavors and aromas.
They are hybrid descendents of the fusion of Criollo and Forastero cacaos. This mixture combined the best qualities: Fruity, exotic, and spicy as the Criollo and robust and fruitful as the Forastero.
“Río Caribe”, “Carenero” and “Sur del Lago”, are very precious varieties due to their high criollo heredity.
Born in the Venezuelan Delta, from where it spread to Trinidad Island.
